Cultivate Your Inner Power

When I was little, my favorite movie was The Karate Kid. Viewed through the lens of the chakras, this movie glows yellow, the color of the solar plexus chakra.

The solar plexus is all about your personal power - knowing it, embodying it, and living from it.

The Karate Kid is an archetypal story of a wounded child - in this case a boy who is challenged by bullies - who embarks on a quest to claim his own power. Through the practice of karate, he discovers inner strength, confidence and self awareness. 

The solar plexus chakra is the place in which we hold the seeds of our personal power. By removing blocks in this energy center, including traumas stored in our cellular memory and energetic imbalances, we restore our capacity to reach our potential.
